For Parachute:

-check tent out
-sort out what food to take
-write packing list
-get better!
-collect up my money
-get some new jandals, undies and some socklets
-dye my hair brown again
-customize some of my old clothes some more so I can have more clothes to wear there (everyone has great clothes at the festival and I find myself feeling inadequate, darn rich kids)
-sort out alcohol
-sort out leaving for the trip
-have clothes all washed and ready to take
-empty camera memory sticks
-charge up and remember to take second phone battery (I might do that now actually!)

General:

-put sheet back on bed
-take duvet cover off duvet and chuck it in the wash, then after the washing+drying comes the hard part – getting the damn duvet inner into the cover! I’ve had a big lumped up duvet inner now for a while, and it’s very annoying!

That’s all at the moment. Quite alot huh!

Help, what should I do to these shorts?

I need some funky ideas for how to make these shorts wearable, ok, so these photos do justice to the shorts compared to in real life, but they are bad!

So think patches, pockets, bleach, fabric paints, distressed edges, paint, maybe even decorative zips! (by the way the fabrics pictured are the ones I have available to me, get your imaginations flowing)

The memories of an old photo

Gotta love Flickr! Sorry this photo is random. I miss those shorts, they got a big hole in them. They were jeans that I cut the bottoms off and painted with just usuall paint and kinda randomly rinsed it off after ages and then put it in the wash, so they became normal and not a hazard to anything else in the way of paint rubbing off on stuff. I liked these shorts. I might try modify them again (a patch or something) then I can wear them to Parachute music festival on 29th – 1st if I want/have more extensive library of clothes! Yay! I’ll post and show you the photos of it/them I might modify a few of my items , be daring. My twin sister got me fabric paints for Christmas so who knows . Might even chuck in the bleach (if I can find some!). I have so many gay clothes I don’t wear thatmight even be wearable if I fix em up a bit!

It’s just to let you know that I have not died on you, I was just away in Mahia on holiday for four days so I didn’t have access to Internet or computer of anykind. I DID however have access to my beloved cameras ! And the scenery around the house was just delicious, vintage wallpaper everywhere, art deco paintings, old chairs and furniture painted dully in the primary colours like little children’s furniture sets, little wee watering cans made and painted by my late step-grandmother (one red one blue), I took many photos so be patient and we shall see.
